Edward F. Harants

Edward F. Harants, age 93, of Brunswick, passed away on June 26, 2026. He was born on October 29, 1932, in Cleveland to the late Edward and Wanda (Tomaszewski) Harants. Edward served his country proudly in the US Navy. He retired as a circuit engineer for AT&T, formerly Ohio Bell.

He loved restoring cars, traveling the world with Joan, working in the yard, 3D printing, going to car shows. Spending quality time with family, neighbors and friends. Ed served in many roles for the Ohio Valley Region of the Lincoln Club, including President.

He is survived by his loving sons Ed (Sabrina) and Jeff (Holly); cherished grandchildren Stephanie (Anthony) and Devin; treasured great-grandchild Aubrie and Declan; loving sibling Donald (Sandy). He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Joan Marie (Schneider) Harants, his parents, Ed and Wanda, Brother Jim (Pat) and Fran (Al).

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick. Private family interment with military honors will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville where Edward will be laid to rest with his wife, Joan.
