Edward John Hules, age 83, of Medina, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Monday September 16, 2024. He was born March 22, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Edward F. and Marie A. (Horacek) Hules.

Edward retired from Ford Motor Company where he worked as an electrician and was a member of the IBEW. He was an easy-going person and could talk to anyone. He enjoyed the outdoors and in his younger days spent a lot of time camping with his sons. He looked forward to getting together, especially for cookouts. He also enjoyed reading and loved watching sci-fi movies.

Edward is survived by his sons, Jonathan (Laura) Hules and Matthew Hules; his grandchildren, Gavin Hules, Kisston (Mike) Potts, Matthew Hules, Jr., Hannah (Travis) Fortney, and Summer (Dale) Gynn; several great grandchildren; and his former spouse, Sharon (Ernest) Winter.

Edward will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256. A service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made in Edward's name to Miracle City Hospice, 9150 S. Hills Blvd #100, Broadview Heights, OH 44147.
