Obituary

Edward Michael Lipinski passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 77. He was born on June 20, 1949, to the late Mitchell and Stella Lipinski.

Ed is survived by his children: Michelle Francis and her husband Tim, Michael Lipinski and his wife Cara, and Cynthia Lipinski. He is also survived by his treasured grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Carson, and Trinity; his brothers in law, Bill, Don, and Paul; his very special friend, Kay Butsko and her beloved family; and many special friends who he considered family. In addition to his parents, Ed is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda, with whom he spent 47 beautiful years of marriage; his brother, Richard; and his brother in law, Sid.

Ed found true happiness in his work, deeply loving his profession and the people he worked alongside, especially his son Michael. He owned and operated his own business, Inticom Inc., where he specialized in CNC and NC repair and rebuilding throughout his career. Some may say he slowed down a little in later years, transitioning to what he called part time, which consisted of three 12 hour days that most would still consider full time.

Ed spent his free time at one of his favorite places, his home at Apple Valley Lake. It was a place where he could relax, laugh, make memories, and enjoy every moment surrounded by the people he loved. He deeply valued his friendships, had a way of making people feel welcome, and enjoyed the companionship, laughter, and memories that came from those relationships.

Travel also brought him tremendous joy; he loved seeing new places and experiencing new things. Above all, Ed will be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends, his appreciation for life, and his ability to find happiness in the people and places that meant the most to him. Though Ed is no longer with us, the memories he created, the stories he shared, and the love he gave will remain with his family and friends forever.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Waite Funeral Home in Medina. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
