Eileen J. Ford, 79, of Brunswick, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

Eileen was born in Ocean City, MD, and at the age of five, her family moved to NJ. She had a bad accident as a child and overcame a severe broken leg and had one good eye as the result of the accident. None of these injuries stopped her from enjoying her life. Her brother, Wymond, and sister-in-law, Darlene, still reside in NJ.

She moved to Ohio in her early twenties. She worked at Huntington Bank in downtown Cleveland, OH for 20 plus years as Vice President.

She loved to crochet doilies/blankets and would crochet one for every new baby who was born in our family. When that baby turned 5, Eileen would then crochet a bigger blanket.

Eileen and I would love to make many trips to Casino Windsor to gamble and spend time together. About 10 years ago she started Square Dancing and was VP for the Medina Squares and Representative for the Federation of Cleveland.

She was the best sister to Wymond and Darlene and the best friend/sister to me, Rosemarie and John. Our family was her family. She loved our family with all her heart. Everyone who knew Eileen loved her. She will be missed in our hearts and never forgotten.

Family will welcome friends from 4-6pm on Monday, June 8, 2026, with a funeral service being held at 6pm at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road in Brunswick.
