Elaine B. Colella, 97, formerly of Fort Pierce Florida, died at Plum Creek Senior Living Community in Medina, Ohio on Wednesday, January 14th, 2025.

Born February 17, 1927 she was the daughter of Susie Rowe and Walter Klosterhoff. She was married to John Colella on December 10th, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, John, her husband of 61 years, and her daughter Linda Chillemi.

Elaine grew up in Wharton, New Jersey and married her husband, John shortly after WWII. They raised their family in New Jersey and several years later relocated to Florida where they spent their lives together until John's death in 2006. She then relocated to Ohio where she spent the duration of life.

She is survived by her daughters, Janice Colella (Steven P.) Graham of Parkton, Maryland, BethAnne Colella (Eric Brian) Fite of Medina, Ohio; her two granddaughters, Karen Schmoyer and Kimberleigh Schmoyer; her two grandsons, Paul Graham and David Graham; along with her two great grandchildren, Bryson and Laurel Graham.
