Elaine M. Koesel, 71, of Brunswick, passed away surrounded by her family on August 6, 2025.

She was born in Cleveland on October 23, 1953 to Edward and Antoinette (Belardo) Walsh. Elaine loved reading, creating ceramics, and crafting diamond art. She also enjoyed bowling, tending to her garden, playing casino slots, socializing with friends, and traveling.

She was a loving and faithful mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Elaine is survived by her children, Melissa (Mike), Bob (Dawn)
and Jennifer (Andrew); grandchildren, Addison, Danielle, Xander and Fiona; her mother, Antoinette; and siblings, Edward (Erika) and Thomas (Patty).

Preceding her in death was her husband of 42 years, Robert; her father, Edward; and a sister, Kathleen

Visitation will be held from 1-4 and 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 14, 2025, at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, 929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick. Interment will take place at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Olmsted Falls.
