Elaine Gail Mandabach, age 70, of Brunswick, OH, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

She was born on February 10, 1955 in Braddock, PA to the late Edward and Gail (Harter) Woods. Elaine was a graduate of Penn-Trafford High School and received her Masters at Capital University (Columbus, OH).

Elaine had an extensive career in banking, finance and tax preparation. Elaine was most recently employed by H&R Block. Elaine, along with her husband, Jim, was a member of St. Ambrose Parish in Brunswick, OH. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, and collecting new experiences. She had a true thirst for knowledge and never stopped learning. Elaine was a generous friend and companion, always there when help was needed.

Elaine was preceded in death by nephew, Eric Keefer; brother-in-law, Rex Pompe; uncle, Earl Woods; brothers-in-law, Terry Pettibone, John (Mick) Mandabach; and sisters-in-law, Sharon Mandabach, Mary Raymond and Janet Neff. Elaine is survived by her husband of 41 years, James (Jim) Mandabach; son, Jonathan (Rona) Mandabach; sisters, Valerie Pompe and Kim Richmond; brother, Edward Woods; sisters-in-law, Martha Pettibone and Judy (Jack) Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, followed by a Memorial Service at 1 p.m.
