Elaine Marie Zaremba, age 86, passed away on August 7, 2024, in Medina, Ohio.  She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Warren & Dorothy Poole.

Elaine was an active soul; family was always first and foremost in her life. After raising her children, she went to work as the custodian at Cloverleaf local schools in Medina County, Ohio from where she retired after 40 years.  She enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens and was a collector of many types of trinkets. Elaine was an excellent cook, joyfully preparing meals with love for her growing family, throughout the years. She also was known to have a special love for animals, especially her beloved cats, the latest, Moochy & Sissy.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of almost 27 years, Ken; her children, Dawn Wilson, Robert Schunn, Diana Stark and Dana Schunn; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents and son, Randy Wilson.

Family will receive friends on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.  at the Waite Funeral Home 765 N. Court St. Medina, Ohio 44256.  Inurnment will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
