On November 10th 2023 Elbert "Harold" Hannah Jr. peacefully passed away at the age of 93. He was known to many as Harold and to his family as Pops. Born on August 28th 1930 and brought up by the late Elbert Hannah Sr. and Hazel (McKinney) Hannah in Middletown, Ohio. He proudly served 24 years in the Air Force. There he met and married his bride Anneliese and raised their two sons, Harold D. and Steven Hannah. He retired as a Master Sergeant in the Air Force. He and his family then moved to Briarwood Beach, Ohio. After life in the military, Harold worked for the City of Medina before becoming the Culinary Teacher for Medina County Career Center (formerly the Medina JVS) when the school opened in 1974. He truly loved teaching his students the fine art of culinary cuisine. Harold was also the mayor of Briarwood Beach and served on their council for many years. In his spare time, Harold loved to fish mostly at Chippewa Lake, bowling, camping, travel with Anneliese, going to the Medina Rec Center and talking with all his neighbors. He also was part of the Medina VFW #5137.

Harold is survived by his oldest son, Harold D. (Vicky Parsons) Hannah; his daughter-in-law, Catherine (Hannah) Lynch; his granddaughter, Kara Hannah; his two nieces, Debbie O'Neil and Kathy Schleglmilch; and his nephew Richard Hannah. He was preceded by his wife of 63 years Anneliese Hannah (2015), his son Steven Hannah (2008), and his brother Jerry Hannah (1992).
