Elizabeth M. Uveges, age 87, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on December 30, 2024. She was born to the late John and Mary (Pavel) Mantz on March 30, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio. Elizabeth loved cooking and baking in her free time.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Steven (Frances) Uveges and Mary Ann (Joseph) George; her grandchildren, Nicole Brooks (Roger), Ann Marie McDevitt (Kirk), and Anthony George; her five great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband of 52 years, Joseph Uveges; her son, John Uveges; her grandson, Jason Uveges; and her siblings, Peter, Anthony, John, Joseph, Lillian Ficzner, Francis, and Ladislaus.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina, OH 44256, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at the church at 11:00 a.m.
