Emil A. Borowski, age 76, passed away on April 4, 2025. He was born on April 6, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Frank and Beatrice (nee Pelky ) Borowski.

Emil lived a full and meaningful life centered on family, service, and community. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Emil served his country with honor. He worked as a welder and later as a retail manager, where his dedication and leadership were appreciated by both colleagues and customers. He will be remembered as a loving father and proud grandfather. Emil had a passion for sports and was a dedicated fan of local teams, especially the Browns, Indians, Cavaliers, and Ohio State Buckeyes. More than anything, he was deeply devoted to his family and especially loved time spent together during holidays and special gatherings. Emil cherished these moments, where laughter and love filled the room – memories that his family will hold close to their hearts.

Emil is survived by his beloved son, Brian (Jennifer) Borowski; his cherished grandchildren, Olivia Borowski, Nicholas Borowski, and Josh (Kaila) Harley; and his dear friend and former spouse, Jeanette Thompson.

Emil will be laid to rest at 9:45 am on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio. Please meet at the cemetery entrance at 9:30 am.
