Eric Thomas McNamara, age 53, will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His life was a part of the stories, memories, and moments shared with the people who cared for him. Though his passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot fully express, the memories of Eric and the love he leaves behind will never be forgotten.

Some losses leave a pain that never truly goes away. We learn to carry it with us, holding close the memories, love and moments that made someone so special. Eric will be remembered, missed and always loved.

I grieve because I loved you.

I miss you because you mattered.

And some days, the pain feels so unbearable.

But I would rather carry the ache of missing you

then live a life where you never existed.

Because you were worth loving, and you will

always be worth missing.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 9, 2026, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina, OH 44256. He will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina.
