Eric Michael Warfel, age 43, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on October 4, 2024. He was born to John E. and Delynn A. (Derago) on June 15, 1981, in Cleveland, Ohio.  He was a movie buff and enjoyed classics with a few favorites being Indiana Jones and Star Wars franchises. Eric was an avid Star Wars collector, animal lover, and Cleveland sports fan. He was known for his artistic ability and could often be found reading or writing.  Eric was a graduate of the New York Film Academy.

Eric is survived by his beloved daughter, Elizabeth Claire Warfel; his father, John Warfel; and his sister, Jill Warfel. His mother, Delynn Warfel, passed away shortly after him on October 23, 2024.  He was preceded in death by two daughters, Erin Delynn and Ember Estrella Warfel.  His pride and joy was his daughter, Elizabeth. He loved her dearly.  Eric touched many other lives with his wit, humor, kindness, and love.

Private family services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Eric's name to the animal rescue charity, The Rescue Inn, P.O.Box 246 North Olmsted, OH 44070. The Rescue Inn is a non-profit organization that saves dogs from high kill shelters and abuse/neglect situations and places those animals into loving and permanent homes.
