Eugene Rader, 86 of Medina went home to be with the Lord on Sunday June, 14, surrounded by his loving family.

Eugene is survived by his Sister, Orena Wood (Rader), His Daughters Mary Simmons (Dave) Lisa Manthey (Mick), Daughter-in-law Sandy Rader ,Grandchildren Matthew O'Donnell (Aeran), Maggie Pettry (Jerry), Mason Simmons (Jon), Brad Rader (Katie), Jake Rader (Kala), Travis Morton (Kellie), and Kyle Morton (Alexander) and Great grandchildren Isla Rose and another on the way.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Shirley Rader, Son, Barry Rader, and Daughter Belinda Rader.

Eugene served as a firefighter in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. After he returned home he spent 36 years working at Ford Motor Company in Brook Park, Ohio. After retirement he spent the next 2 decades helping raise his grandkids and being a true family man. He spent countless hours in his beloved gardens and spent time watching the birds and wildlife. He loved with all of his heart and lived a great life. He lived with compassion and understanding for so many different things, with the changing world we lived in.

A Celebration of Eugene's life will be held at a later date, details to follow.
