Floyd E. Gibbons, 83, passed away on December 15, 2024, in Medina, OH. Born on March 3, 1941, in Pittsburgh, PA, Floyd was the son of the late Curtis and Dorothy (nee Null) Gibbons. He married the love of his life, Judith (nee Young) in 1961, and they shared more than 63 years of marriage.

Floyd spent most of his career as a salesman with Copperfield Chimney Supply. He also proudly served in the Army National Guard.

Floyd's memory will be cherished by his wife, Judith; son, Dale (Karen) Gibbons; grandchildren, Chad (Amanda) Gibbons and Stephanie Gibbons; and great-grandchildren, Natalie, Lillian, Blake, and Bryce. He is also survived by his brother, Ron (Trish) Gibbons; sister, Marcia Minnella (John, deceased); and dear friend, Leona Pugh. In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey; great-grandson, Brayden; and sister, Lavonne.

Floyd will be remembered for his personable nature, positive attitude, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was an excellent golfer as well. Known for his dedication to his family, Floyd was a man who worked hard and took pride in caring for others, especially his beloved wife.
