Frances Louise Cox

Frances L., Cox, age 92, passed away on August 21, 2026. She was born on June 7, 1934, to the late Orville and Elizabeth (Gordon) Cox, in Seville, Ohio. Frances is survived by her sister Mary Delehanty; nieces and nephews; close friend Judie Shields.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Christine "Tina" Gotward and Rita Cox.

Frances worked at Lindsey Wire Weaving Company and Gilbane Construction as an administrative assistant. She was also a proud member of the Skyscraper Club. She sang in multiple church choirs and was a longtime devoted member of Our Lady Help of Christians Parish. Her faith was her guiding light.

She cherished every moment spent laughing and sharing stories with her beloved friends. Her warmth, dedication, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Frances’ memory be made to Our Lady Help of Christians Parish.

Service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, 60 High St., Seville, Ohio. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, 606 E Washington St., Medina, Ohio. Online condolences and memories may be made at www.waitefuneralhome.com.
