Francis William Delorm, Sr. was born March 29, 1943, at the Rutland Hospital, Rutland, Vermont to James M. & Katherine (Swinington) Delorm. He attended local schools and graduated from Rutland High School, class of 1961. Francis was a hall monitor and very active with the Drama Department & Mimes, performing in the productions as well. Francis enlisted in the U.S. Army and was with the "Big Red One" Division, Ft. Riley, Kansas and honorably discharged as Sgt. Technician. On August 17, 1968, he married his love of his life, Judith (Goulette) Delorm. They have 3 children, daughters: Renee, husband Dave, Cathy Jo, husband O.J., and son, Francis William Delorm II and wife, Melissa. He was also blessed with 13 Grandchildren and 5 Precious Great Grandchildren. Francis was also survived by his Brother, Stanley (Annette), Deltona, Florida, and two devoted sisters, Pat Moyer, Rutland, and Marge (Scott) Munger of Brandon, Vermont, and 5 loving sisters-in-law, Mary, Charlotte, Patty, Stephanie, and Susie.

Being a very devout Catholic, Francis was a very devoted Son, Brother, Husband, Father and most definitely favored all of his precious grandchildren. He valued his deep friendships with many special families and co-workers throughout the years. His employment took him to Firestone for 27 years, Westpark Packaging and then Solar Testing in the capacity of Accountant/Controller. Retiring in 2010 gave him special vacations with Judy and his children/grandchildren. Ending up in Florida winter home, Francis was the trusted Treasurer of our Community the better part of that time. He will be missed by all who knew him. Waiting for his 3 children to be home, he succumbed to His Lord on the morning of May 1, 2023. Our thanks go out to Everyone for their love and support throughout His Journey Home.
