Frank Oliver Howard, age 92, of Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025. He was born on April 18, 1933, in Elyria, Ohio to the late Homer Harrison Howard and Alice (Allen) Howard.

Frank worked for the Ohio State Highway Department, and he was also a Draw Bench Operator for Bliss & Laughlin Steel of Medina.  He was an active and devout member of Litchfield Assembly of God and Medina Community Church. Frank proudly served his country as a US Army Corporal at the 34th General Hospital in France. He enjoyed word search puzzles, and both Country and Gospel music. He loved nature, being outdoors, his gardens, his beloved family, and of course his pets. Frank will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Carol M. (Gerber) Howard; his loving children, Timothy (Tamara) Howard and Kelly Howard; his beloved grandchildren, Brooks Howard, Crystal Howard, Brandon Howard, Blake Howard, and Maurissa (Elijah) Wiegand; his great grandchildren, Austin, Adrian, and Bradley; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents and 11 siblings.

The family will receive friends on July 9, 2025, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, OH 44256 with a funeral service immediately following at 1:00 p.m.  Frank will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
