Frank R. Kalal

Frank R. Kalal, age 85, of Brunswick, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. He was born June 11, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio to Frank J. and Elizabeth (nee Korfant) Kalal. Frank retired as a postal carrier for the USPS. He was a longtime member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church and also attended St. Ambrose Catholic Church. He enjoyed golf, bowling and was an avid fan of Ohio State football and all Cleveland sports. But, above all, Frank loved spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Left to celebrate Frank’s life is his beloved wife of 61 years, Dyan (nee Ulmer) and his Great Dane, Roxy; his loving children, Ronald Kalal and Michael Kalal (fiancé Jennifer); his cherished grandchildren, Christian and Beckett; his brother, Robert (Sheila) Kalal; and many extended family and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia.

Family will welcome visitors from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Waite Funeral Home located at 3300 Center Road in Brunswick. Mass of Christian Burial be held at 10:00 am at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 6677 Wallings Road, North Royalton, OH 44133, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. Inurnment will take place at All Saints Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Frank’s memory to St. Albert the Great Catholic Church.
