Frank Vrona, 97, of Litchfield, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Frank was born on September 21, 1927, on a farm in Crucible, PA, along with 8 brothers and sisters, to the late Joseph and Mary Vrona.

He moved to Cleveland as a young man and served in the Army during the Korean War. After receiving an honorable discharge from the Army, he married his loving wife, Carol Gresmuck, on January 9, 1954, and was married for 60 years until her passing in 2014. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather to 5 children (Greg, Alan, Anthony, Sharon, and Carolyn), 17 grandchildren, and 23 great – grandchildren.

Frank joined the Knights of Columbus in 1968 and is a 4th degree knight.

He worked at St. Vincent DePaul Society managing their outlet stores for 20 years and retired in 1993.

His family will receive friends on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 4-8 pm at the Waite Funeral Home: 765 N. Court Street, Medina, OH 44256 and from 9-10 am on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church: 1800 Station Road, Valley City, OH 44280, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Burial will follow at St. Martin of Tours church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Frank's memory to St. Martin of Tours Building Fund at the address above.
