Frederick "Fred" H. Gordon, age 74 of Seville, passed away April 5, 2024, in Akron.  Fred was born on October 20, 1949, in Medina to the late Homer and Patricia (nee Johnson) Gordon.  He worked in the banking industry and later in hospitality at the Hawthorn.  He enjoyed swimming, car rides, and all sports- especially the Cleveland teams. Most of all Fred loved to spend time with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Kimberly (nee Chapman) Gordon; loving children Lauren (Roger) Kilgore, Erin (Mike) Gordon and Kelly (Scott) Gordon; dear stepchildren Jesse (Laura) Chapman, Jeff (Emily) Askew, Tiffany (Roberto) Leyva and Jordan (Jackie) Askew; cherished grandchildren Reed, Davis, Lana, Kelsey, Ashley, Chase, Michael, Braxton and another on the way; his brother Theodore (Vicki) Gordon; his niece and  nephew Kelsey (Jason) Geanuracos and Tyler (Christina) Gordon; and a lifetime of collected friends and colleagues.

The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 pm on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina 44256.  A private funeral service will be held.
