Frederick Waitman Haddix, age 86, passed away on December 19, 2024. He was born on December 30, 1937, in Century, West Virginia to the late Homer and Mary Elizabeth Haddix. He is survived by his beloved children, Rodney (Jeanine), Roger (Sheri); dear grandchildren, James, Josh, Joey, Haley (Jordan) Woods, Aimee, and Melody; treasured great-grandchildren Everett and Ayrabella; and cherished siblings, John (Judy), Richard (Joyce), and Janet (Glenn).

He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Mildred "Millie" Haddix in 2023, and his siblings, Tom and Dennis.

Fred retired after 40 years with General Motors as a technician. After retiring from GM, he worked for 12 years at Enterprise as a rental car transporter. He was a member of the Masons. Fred enjoyed working in his yard and was a car enthusiast. He loved to travel with Millie, especially to Hawaii, Alaska, Cancun, and their many trips to West Virginia to see family. Fred truly cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and family. He will be dearly missed by all.
