George E. Frederick, 79 of Brunswick, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. He was born on October 20, 1936 to the late George E. and Mary (nee Powelko) Frederick in Greensboro, PA. George was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, retired from LTV Steel, and was a member of St. Ambrose Parish. On June 2, 1962, George married his beloved wife Victoria Veronica (nee Molek) who preceded him in death on February 16, 2016. His love and devotion to his bride of 53 years will forever be remembered by his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by his children MaryAnne (Gregory) Kapel, George (Amy) Frederick, and Michael (Linda) Frederick; his grandchildren Kayla, Gregory, Robert, Brynne, Caroline, Jillian, Emmerson, and Bennett; his sisters Mary Ann (Stanley) Dombrowski and Linda Frederick. Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 4-8 PM at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd. Brunswick, OH 44212. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, September 5, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, at 12:30 PM with visitation one hour prior.
