George Mohan Jr., age 54 of Brunswick, is now at rest with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a hard-fought battle against Covid-19 complications.  He passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on January 18, 2022.

George was born February 27, 1967, in Lovke, Serbia to George and Ana Mohan.  They immigrated to America in 1972.

George married the love of his life Lori Clark Mohan on October 17, 1998, and they are the proud parents of two daughters Amanda Renee and Lauren Elizabeth.

In addition to his wife and children George is survived by his mother Ana Mohan, his grandmother, Florika Mohan, and many friends and relatives.  He was preceded in death by his Father George Mohan, Sr. and his grandfather, George Mohan.

George was known as a kind, generous, fun, all around nice guy who could light up a room with his sense of humor.  He was loved and respected by all who knew him.  He enjoyed soccer, football and was a self-proclaimed poker expert who loved spending time with his friends and family.

George was a 1985 graduate of Westlake High School where he was a member of the soccer team.  He went on to attend Polaris Career Center where he earned his Tool & Die Certificate.  George worked as a Tool & Die Maker for S&Z Tool and Die and Universal Metal Products for over 30 years.

George will be missed by all who knew him.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to his family.

Family will receive friends on Friday, January 21, 2022, from 4-8 pm at the Waite and Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256.  The family respectfully asks that masks be worn, and social distancing observed during our difficult time. Funeral services for George will be on Saturday, 10:30 am, at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 1606 Center Road, Hinckley, OH 44233.  Burial will follow at West Park Cemetery in Cleveland.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
