Geraldine Ann Oaklief (née Kaminsky), age 87, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025. She was born to the late John and Catherine (née Albert) Kaminsky on October 21, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Geri was a stay-at-home mom and ran her family business in Olmsted Falls called "The Falls Kreme Shop". She loved horses and traveling to Florida. Geri enjoyed doing ceramics and playing cards with her long-time girlfriends.

Geri was the loving mother of Lisa Russo (David), Tracy Gigliotti (David), and Beth Skipper (Jeffrey); cherished grandmother of Mario (Kara), Brandon (Jaclyn), Cody, Dillion (Paige), Austin (Cassidi), and Logan; great grandmother of Ella, Kaidance, Kerrianna, Levi, Liam, and another on the way.

She is preceded by her husband of 61 years, Ronald Oaklief in 2017; her son, Todd Oaklief; her great granddaughter, Lily; and her sisters, Lucille Calderone and June Gordon.

The family gives a special thanks to Brookdale Assisted Living for all the love and care over these past 4 years and to Remembrance Hospice in her final days of life.

Following Geri's wishes, there will be a private family burial where she will be laid to rest with her husband at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Olmsted Falls, Ohio.
