Gordon Charles Hale, age 92, passed away peacefully in Bath, Ohio on March 9, 2025. Gordon was born on April 4, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Charles Simon and Eva Minnie (Gidley) Hale. Gordon worked as a Brakeman for 42 years with New York Central / Conrail Railroad. He enjoyed collecting and restoring Early American Antique furniture. He loved traveling with his beloved wife, Barbara, on their many trips across the East Coast. A loving husband, devoted father, doting grandfather, great grandfather, and friend he will be greatly missed by all.

Gordon is survived by his wife of 69 years, Barbara Ann (White) Hale; his daughters, Linda Hale and Lauren (Michael) Kanczak; grandchildren, Crystal Hale (fiancé Jeffery), Adrienne Meder, and Charlie (Stephanie) Meder; and great grandchild, Averi; along with many dear friends and colleagues.

He is preceded in death by his late parents Charles and Eva Hale; and sisters, Helen (Marvin) Saefkow and Eva (Ed) LeBriten.

The family will hold a private family service with inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH.
