Granville "Shorty" Coleman, 88, of Wadsworth, passed away September 11, 2024.

He was born in Pikeville, KY on January 19, 1936 to Elmer and Hasty Coleman.

Survivors include his children, Lora (Greg) Winterstein and Ronald Coleman (Jeff) Workman; grandchildren, Gregory (Robin) Winterstein Jr., Samantha (Mic Woody) Swain; great-grandchildren, Ezmarelda, Elvira, Veronica, and Lenore Winterstein, Abigail and James Swain, and Ricu Woody; siblings, Goble Coleman, Freda Brouse, Carol Adkins, Bonnie Summerfield, Burma Hixon, Beatrice Adkins, Rachel May, Brenda Bartley, and Berdie Coleman.

Preceding him in death was his loving wife, Doris; his parents and siblings, Orville Coleman, Monroe Coleman, Dimple Coleman, and Dixie Damron.

Granville enjoyed Cleveland Guardians baseball, mowing his and other's lawns, bluegrass music, and playing canasta and billiards.

Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m., Monday, September 16, 2024, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Private interment will take place at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
