Harold "Scott" Adams Bres III, 74, of Medina, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, surrounded by his family. Scott served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Jason as a data systems technician. After the military he met and married his wife, Pamela. He proudly worked for Digital Equipment Corp., Compaq, and Hewlett Packard, finally retiring as a Worldwide Data Analyst. Scott enjoyed visiting all 50 states and many countries with his wife and family, completing crosswords, and loved having weekly family dinners. Scott never missed a sporting event or musical performance of his children and grandchildren. Making memories with the family was very important to him.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Pamela A. (Kelly) Bres; daughters Kelly Elizabeth Horvath (James), Lyndie Lee Gillihan (Patrick) and daughter-of-the-heart Jaclyn Nicole Dalziel (Nicholas); siblings Marc Siewert (DeLynn), Dana Bres (Mimi), and Kim Kelly (Bill); grandchildren Ireland, Brooklyn, Liam, Emeric, and Elora, as well as his lifelong friend Doug Smith (Alice). He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Elizabeth Bres Jr.
Family will receive friends on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256. A Memorial Service will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. A committal service with military honors will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina.
