Harold R. Sickels, age 81, passed away on June 24, 2025. He was born on August 10, 1943, in Dover, Ohio to the late Russell and Pauline (Smutz) Sickels. Harold was a supervisor at Buehler's Supermarkets for 46 years. He loved spending time with family and friends, he enjoyed attending any of his grandchildren's activities over the years and loved being outdoors whenever possible. He loved bowling, golfing, gardening, and mowing and tending his lawn. He enjoyed attending car shows and any sport, especially football, basketball, and golf. Harold was a member of the Jaycee, the Kiwanis, the Ohio Grocers Association, the Medina Aerie Eagles Lodge #2224, he was a regular volunteer at the Food Bank at St. Paul Lutheran Church and helped with the YMCA Indian Guides. But most of all, he loved his family, he spent every minute he could with them and never missed any of their activities.

Harold is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Linda (Gasser) Sickels; his loving children, Jim (Laurie) Sickels and Brenda (Brian) Carino; his 4 grandchildren, David (Tori) Sickels, Danny (Jessi) Sickels, Katie (George) Miller and Kyle Carino; his 3 great grandchildren, Cecilia, Lorelei, and Sadie; his sister, Karen Hopkins; along with many extended family members and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends on Monday June 30, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N Court Street, Medina, Ohio 44256. Harold's funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 5:00 p.m.
