Hazel Lucille Nicks, age 71, of Seville, Ohio, passed away on March 28, 2025 after her courageous fight with cancer . She was born to the late Estel C. and Winifred K. (Fyffe) Hamilton on May 31, 1953, in Medina, Ohio. Hazel was a member of Victory Baptist Church and was known for deep, unwavering faith in God. Hazel was a loving caring and compassionate person that touched the lives of all of those around her. Even in her times of pain and discomfort, Hazel always had a sweet smile to share.  In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and painting and helping others.

Hazel is survived by her husband of 27 years, Nathan E. Nicks; her daughter, Angela M. Fowler; her brother, Leslie L. Hamilton and sister, Gloria Beck; and many nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends. She was preceded by her brother, Hobert C. Hamilton.

Services will be held at a later date and she will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
