Helen Mansell, 100, of Brunswick, passed away May 26, 2025.

She was born on July 7, 1924 to Jacob and Anna (Andreasik) Matusik.

Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte (the late David) Lekan; grandchildren, Michael, Cindy, Kelly (J.P.), David, Ken (Kelly), Karen (Shane) and Danielle (Curtis); great-grandchildren, Robert, Madison, Kaitlyn, Andrew, D.J., Alex, Justin, Brenden, Cameron, Payton, and Emersyn.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Michael (Marlene); and a brother, Jack (Jean).

Helen valued her family above all else and they were her number one priority. She enjoyed good health throughout her life, driving until she was 96, going to the movies, and was later recognized with a proclamation from the mayor and the State of Ohio on her 100th birthday. She was recognized as the neighborhood grandma and will always be remembered for her kindness to others.

Private funeral services will be held.
