Helen Veverka, of Medina County, died peacefully on December 14th surrounded by family and friends.

Helen was born on October 7th, 1950, in Knott County, Kentucky. Moving to Brunswick at the age of two, she has lived in Medina County for a majority of her life.  In 1970, Helen became the first woman in Medina County to obtain her motorcycle license. In addition to riding a motorcycle, Helen was the lead singer in "The Cookin' County Band", as well as a career accountant.

Helen is survived by her sons Nick and Patrick Veverka, Her Daughters Mary (Bill) Reising and Cindy Rymanowicz, her Grandchildren, Liam, Kaelyn, James, and Thomas along with a number of common law children and grandchildren. She is welcomed in death by her parents, Seba and Mack Cook, her husband Rodney Veverka, Her son Rodney Veverka Jr, and her granddaughter, Rhianne King.

Helen will be remembered for her strength of character, her love of music, and the lasting impact she made on her family and community.
