Howard E. Rogers' Obituary
Howard E. Rogers, 84, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at Pine Valley Care Center.
He retired from Ohio Bell, where he was an installer foreman for 30 years. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Rogers enjoyed stained glass, woodworking and gardening. He especially loved animals, and Dick Goddard and his Wooly Bear Festival.
Mr. Rogers was the beloved father of Dale Rogers and Pamela Rogers; dear grandfather of Michelle (Jeffrey) Zunich, Jennifer (Vince) Salvatore, and Stephanie, Allison and Chris Rogers; and loving great-grandfather of Tyler, Gracie, Jordyn, Layne and Ava.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilburta Rogers.
Service: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 7605 Pleasant Home Road, Sterling, Ohio.
Military burial: Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
Visiting hours: 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St.
