HULDA LUVINIA HARRIS SEESE, 91, of Broadway Creek Senior Living, passed away on August 1st, 2024, at 2:30 am at the Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital. She was born in Clarksburg, WV on May 1, 1933, a daughter of the late Basel E and Merle Luvinia Riffle Harris. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, William L. Seese, Sr. whom she married September 3, 1960. She is survived by her three sons, William Luther Seese, Jr. and his wife Candice, Brunswick, OH, Scott Anthony Seese and his wife Lori, Fairborn, OH, and Paul Christopher Seese and his wife Kim, Galena, OH, and two daughters, Tina Rebekah Seese, Scarbro, WV, and Priscilla Joy Seese, Cleveland, OH; 12 grandchildren, Heidi Wilson, Andrea and Jarrod Carpenter, William Scott Seese, Cody Rainwater Seese Marty Lee Browning Jr, Stephen Browning, Rebekah and Cecil Byers, Christopher Davis, John and Heather Davis, Dennis Davis Jr, Emily Seese and Samantha Seese; 17 great-grandchildren, Emmitt James Bryner, Brielle Carpenter, Kaysen Carpenter, Kassidi Browning, Stephen C. Browning, Jacob Browning, Zackary Byers, Emilee Byers, Kaylie Byers; Cecilia Davis, Kingston Davis, Sienna Davis, Gavin Davis, Lillian Davis, Gabriella Davis and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Ima Jean Paugh, and three brothers, Bill Harris, Nelson Harris, and Oscar Harris and also a great granddaughter Raylee Browning. Mrs. Seese had many occupations working at Clarksburg Gazette, Peterson Nut, and Westend Diaper. She later joined Woolworth Co and retired. She was an active and devoted member of Medina United Methodist Church where she was proud to perform in many annual Contatas. Mrs. Seese was a skilled bowler who won multiple "Beat the Champ" competitions in Cleveland, Ohio. She found solace and joy in singing with many church choirs, community events, and musical plays such as the Cleveland Westside Theater production of Fidler on the Roof. Through her musical talent, she touched the hearts of many and comforted those around her including her family. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the heavenly choir, forever singing among the angels.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Missionary Alliance Church, 411 Hazelwood Ave., Stonewood, WV 26301 or Stonewall Methodist Church, 504 Cost Ave., Stonewood, WV 26301.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 2-4pm at Waite Funeral Home, with a funeral service at 4pm. Online condolences and memories may be made at www.waitefuneralhome.com. Friends may call at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, ONE OLEN THOMAS DR., RT. 98, CLARKSBURG, West Virginia, Monday, August 5, 2024, from 6 - 8 P.M. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Stonewood Fellowship, 8301 Hazelwood Ave. Stonewood, WV 26301, from 9-10am, with a funeral service at 10am. Burial to follow at Stone Wall Park.
