It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ilonka Nacsa, aged 88, of Brunswick, Ohio, who gently departed this world on September 1, 2026, at her beloved home, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. Born on February 20, 1938, in Novi sad, Yugoslavia, Ilonka came into this world as a beacon of grace and compassion, traits she carried throughout her life. She was the cherished daughter of the late Iles and Ilonka Szabo. Ilonka dedicated 15 years of her life to ABEST as a seamstress, where her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to her craft were evident. Beyond her professional life, she embraced her role as a mother and grandmother with profound love and tenderness. Ilonka was the cherished "Peacemaker" of her family, always striving to create harmony and joy in every gathering. Her culinary skills were legendary, as she filled her home with the delightful aromas of her cooking and baking, crafting the most delectable meals and pastries that brought families together. In addition to her culinary passions, her green thumb flourished in her garden, where she found joy in nurturing life. Ilonka was preceded in eternal rest by her beloved husband, Mihaly Nacsa, who passed away in 2007. She leaves behind her devoted daughter, Ildiko Hulett, and son-in-law, Paul Hulett, as well as her cherished grandson, Craig Michael James Hulett, all of whom carry forward her legacy of love and warmth. In honor of Ilonka's remarkable life, the family will receive friends at Waite Funeral Home located at 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH 44212, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 PM at Hope Memorial Gardens in Hinckley, Ohio.
