Irene Kyker, 70, of Brunswick, passed away May 10, 2026.

She was born in Cleveland on December 16, 1955 to John and Christine (Fusek) Poshedley. Irene is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dave; children, David Kyker, Rebecca (Joe) Browne, Philip (Sammi) Kyker, and Christina (Vince) Lang; and grandchildren, Gianna, Savannah, Luke, Lily, Ethan, Evan and Madison Irene; and her brother-in-law Gene (Rose) Kyker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Christine Marie, John Jr., Elaine, and James; brother-in-law, Steve Kyker; and a grandchild, Joey Browne. 

Irene loved spending time with her husband, Dave, her children, and her grandchildren. She and Dave did everything together. She enjoyed going out to restaurants, thrift stores, the casino, and maintaining family holiday traditions. 

Visitation will be held from 10 am – 1 pm, Friday, May 15, 2026, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, followed by funeral services at 1 pm. Interment will take place at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
