Irma
Duche'
March 22, 1944 – December 9, 2024
Irma Duché (Pamin), age 80, went to be with the Lord, entering into eternal life on December 9, 2024. Irma has been married to the love of her life Robert, for nearly 62 years. Together they have three children, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Irma's greatest joy came from spending time with her family while fostering a loving environment for all. She always made time for everyone and provided support and love no matter the occasion. She was the heart of our home and family. She and her husband Robert worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for their family. She would proudly boast about each of their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Irma was an exemplary wife, mother and person - always there to go to for advice, love and comfort. She was constantly thinking about others above herself by listening, cooking and ordering odd gifts for everyone from the catalogs that came in the mail. Irma always made us laugh by telling us strange stories and random facts she knew, and always spoke her mind. No one dared to say anything negative about her family, as she was a fierce defender of those she loved.
Her love for nurturing things was also evident in her beautiful garden. She loved working in her flower gardens and took pride in them as each season changed and new blooms appeared. She enjoyed going through nature and finding flat rocks she could put in her gardens. The flowers she planted will be a lasting memory of her in every season.
She embodied the best of qualities: Unconditional love, strength and unending generosity that could be seen in everything she did. Her warmth and kindness will live forever in the hearts of all who knew her. We, her family, asked that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing.
Irma is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert; her children, Denise (Larry) Eisenman, Robert (Jayne) Duché, and Christine (James) Kisner; grandchildren, Michael (Jessica), Matthew (Raven), Michelle, Robert (Katelyn), Andrew, Joseph, Timothy, Jakob (Krista), Elizabeth (Zach), Emily (Jordan), Kaylee (Derrick) and Keziah; great-grandchildren, Camille and Wyatt; and a sister, Elizabeth Christner.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Olga (Detke) Pamin, and a brother, Leonard Pamin.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, where funeral services will take place at 10 a.m., Friday, December 13th. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
