Jack R DeLuca

Jack R. DeLuca, age 81, of Medina, passed away on October 15, 2026, together again with his beloved wife Mary. He was born on March 12, 1945, in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania to the late John and Maxine (Huggins) DeLuca. Jack is preceded in death by his wife Mary (Czekaj), and stepfather Frank Janesko. Jack is survived by his treasured children Scott (Kim) DeLuca of Massillon, Tony (Mandy) DeLuca of Medina, Mike (Jen) DeLuca of Medina; adored grandchildren Jack, Max, Breanna, Emma, Mason, Alexa, Morgan, Jacob; cherished cousin Sherri (Russ) Gonda.

Jack had a long career in construction as an Equipment Manager for Stevens Engineers & Constructors. Jack enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, woodworking, and sharing a meal with family and friends. His warm smile, soft eyes, and clever sense of humor were enjoyed by all who knew him. He and Mary spent many years volunteering with St. Vincent de Paul Society. Jack cherished his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all.

Family will receive friends on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 4-7pm at Waite Funeral Home in Medina. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10am at St. Francis Catholic Church. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.waitefuneralhome.com.
