James C. Bailey, age 83, peacefully passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025. He was born on December 3, 1941, to John and Annette Bailey in Charleston, West Virginia. Jim enjoyed gardening, playing pool, and going to the bar to socialize and dance. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Left to celebrate Jim's life are his loving children, James C. Jr.  and Richard (Laura); his cherished grandchildren, Andrea Bailey, Stephanie (Steven) Snyder, Jessica (Luke) Billman, T.J. Bailey, Lorenzo Bailey; his adorable great grandchildren, Ace, Silas, C.J., Michael, Hailee and Aiyana; sister, Jayne Anne Gibson; and many extended family and friends. Jim is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeanne C., his siblings, Judy, Jeanne, Jerry, John, Jackie, and Dempsey.

Family will welcome visitors from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home located at 3300 Center Road in Brunswick. A Celebration of Life will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 28th, with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
