James Robert Earley, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and dedicated Air Force veteran, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on December 28, 2024, surrounded by his family. James was born on January 4th, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and lived a life marked by devotion to his family, his country, and his community.
James was married to his cherished wife, Mahala, for an incredible 72 years. Their union was one of deep love and mutual respect, providing a strong foundation for their five children: James Jr. (Diane), Kathleen (Robert), Nancy, Theresa, and Joseph (Jenny). He was a proud father and a guiding presence in the lives of his children, always teaching them the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, James served his country with honor during the war in Korea. His dedication to duty and service to others left an indelible mark in the lives of all who knew him. He was a man of great integrity, a steadfast protector, and a man whose actions were always guided by his strong moral compass.
James was an avid golfer and longtime member of Medina Country Club and was a founding member of the Medina Old Guys Association.
James was also a loving grandfather and great-grandfather, finding great joy in spending time with his grandchildren and passing on his wisdom to future generations. He believed deeply in the importance of family and took great pride in watching his children and grandchildren grow into remarkable individuals.
James's legacy is one of unwavering commitment to his loved ones, his country, and his values. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on through his family, who will continue to honor his legacy of love, service, and sacrifice.
In addition to his wife and children, James is survived by his thirteen grand children Madison, Austin, Meghan, Emerson, Krista, Dennis, Thomas, Allan, Molly, Kaleigh, Mahala, McKenna, and Adriane as well his twelve great grandchildren Cameron, Owen, Declan, Bibianna, Harrison, Audrey, Dylan, Adelyn, Bennett, Theodore, Matthias, and Elliott. He is predeceased by his nine sisters.
Rest in peace, James. Your service and love will never be forgotten.
