Obituary

James Leroy "Jim" Stoner, 76, passed away December 25, 2024. He was born March 25, 1948, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Henry and Arlene (Unger) Stoner. Jim met the love of his life, Donna (Martin) in the eighth grade, and they were married for over 55 years.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Donna; children, Amy, Aaron, Todd, and Meghan; daughter-in-law, Jenny; and cherished grandchildren, Sarah, Hannah, and Evan. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce.

Jim was a proud veteran who served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he became a welder and went on to own his own welding business, National Welding Services. Known for his dry wit and humor, Jim brought laughter and joy to all who knew him.

Jim will be laid to rest at 2:45 pm on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio. A celebration of Jim's life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Holiday Inn, 7410 South Ave, Boardman, Ohio.
