James J. Ventura, 74, of Brunswick, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, in Richfield. He was born February 15, 1947, in Cleveland to the late John Ventura and Frances (nee Iacono).  James was an avid Cleveland sports fan who also enjoyed car shows and visiting friends and family. He was a hard worker and had a successful career in construction. He is survived by his loving children, Gina Ilg (Chris), Lisa Novicky (Charles), Sheila Vunderink (Eric), and James Ventura (Elizabeth); 10 treasured grandchildren Hailey, Morgan, CJ, Christian, Riley, Chad, Carter, Corey, Coen, and Bennett; his brother, Mike (Debbie); and his sister-in-law, Jo Ventura. He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn and his brother, John.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 4:00-7:30 PM at the Waite and Son Funeral Home, Brunswick Chapel, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, OH 44212. A Celebration of James' Life to take place at 7:30 PM, the family requests that masks please be worn. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, located at: 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
