Jan Kenneth Pesta, age 78, passed away on December 17, 2025. He was born to the late John and Mildred Pesta. Jan is survived by his beloved wife, Monica; dear children, Gwen (Bob) Stawicki and Maggie (Branko) Smida; cherished grandchildren, Bobby, Brad, and Amanda Stawicki, Benjamin and Abbey Smida.

Jan was a car lover. He enjoyed restoring Corvettes, was the officer for Corvette Cleveland, the secretary and part of the executive committee for MBCA Western Division for Mercedes Benz. Most importantly, he loved his family and will be dearly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in honor of Jan, his love for his Winnie and all of his other poodles, to the Medina County SPCA .

Family will receive friends at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1800 Station Rd, Valley City, OH 44280, on Saturday, December 27th, from 9-10 am, with a Mass to follow at 10 am. Burial at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.waitefuneralhome.com.
