Jane Louise Chidsey, age 77, of Strongsville, Ohio passed away on December 3, 2019.  She was born on December 24, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Theodore and Helen (Hervi) Witzman.

Jane was a loving wife and mother who was devoted to her family. She was known for showing her love through her cooking and for being a fantastic cook! She was also an avid longtime collector of Pfaltzgraff Village pieces.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Lester Chidsey; sons, Matthew (Jen) Chidsey and Michael (Erin) Chidsey; her daughter, Laura Johnson; nine grandchildren; and many friends.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents and son, Mark.

The Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 North Court Street, Medina, Ohio 44256. A private burial will take place at Strongsville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to any charity of your choice.
