Jane Lynn Peters went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 26, 2021 with her family by her side.  She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Harold V. and Luella (Archer) Wharton.   She was the first member of her family to graduate from college after attending Ohio University and graduating in 1958.  She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Robert Neal Peters, who passed away in 2012. During that time she loved to support the Medina Bees basketball teams that Robert coached, and especially loved watching her sons play for the Bees; then watching her grandchildren excel in their athletic endeavors as well.  Jane was an exceptional teacher at Buckeye Junior High School for 26 years, being honored at one point as a finalist for the Teacher of the Year for the state of Ohio.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend to many who always had a smile on her face, always had positive things to say, and loved living life with those around her.

Jane is survived by her beloved sons Jody (Karen) Peters and Jay (Dawn) Peters; cherished grandchildren Zachary (Amanda) Peters, Tyler (Leah) Peters, Allyson (Mason) Schreck, Robert (Machaela), Michael (Connor) Peters, Luke (fiancé Becca) Peters, and Nathanial (fiancé Nicole) Peters; and her dear great-grandchildren Riley, Avery, and Bailey.

A private family service will be held and she will be laid to rest with her husband at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina.
