Janice Marie Daly, age 89, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026. She was born March 11, 1937, in Oneida, Tennessee.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Janice built a life dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming home where family always came first. She also found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her lawn and flowers during the summer months and crocheting and crafting when the weather kept her indoors. Small in stature, Janice was also strong and determined, earning the affectionate description, “tiny but mighty.” Above all else, Janice cherished her family. They remember her as the best friend and mom anyone could ask for.

Janice was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Richard F. Daly, who passed away in 2008. She was also preceded in death by her foster parents, Melvin and Helen (Dake) West; and her brother, James.

She is survived by her loving children, Theresa (Robert) Siegfried and Timothy (Sandra) Daly; grandchildren, LeAnne (Rick), Meghan, Andrew (Krista), Ali, and Tyler; as well as four great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio. A funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00 pm.
