Janice G. Workman, age 78, of Parma, peacefully passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026. She was born December 23, 1947, in Drill, Virginia to Russell H. and Virginia M. (nee McClanahan) Dye. Janice was “Mom” to all the neighborhood children. She always put everyone before herself, no matter who or what it was. Janice loved reading her Bible and was an avid artist. Her family was her greatest joy and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Left to celebrate Janice’s life is her beloved husband of 61 years, Donald; her loving children, Gregory A. Workman, and James H. Workman; her cherished grandchildren, Gregory (Brianna) Workman, Jr., Desiree L. Workman (fiancé Zach), and River Workman; her siblings, Russell (Colleen) Dye, Jr., Allen (Darlene) Dye, and Nancy (Thomas) Gioitta; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.

Janice is preceded in death by her son, Donald R. Workman, Jr., her parents, and her brother, Mack Dye.

Family will welcome visitors from 11am to 1pm on Monday, July 6, 2026, at Waite Funeral Home located at 3300 Center Road in Brunswick, with a funeral service at 1pm. Interment to follow at Hope Memorial Gardens.
