Obituary

Jeffrey Richard Natterer, 56, of Brunswick, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025. Jeff was born on November 13, 1968, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Richard and Barbara (Bonnett) Natterer.

Jeff was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1987 graduate of Cloverleaf High School. He was very talented and enjoyed drawing and photography. He was also a musician and played guitar in many bands. Jeff studied Arts at the University of Akron. He had a passion for the Pacific Northwest as well, since he had once lived in the state of Washington. He raised and bred catfish, cichlid fish and was a member of the Ohio Cichlid Association. Jeff was a kind and gentle soul and would help anyone he could. He was so happy to have boys as grandchildren.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Richard Natterer and his sister, Laura Tice.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly (Peters) Natterer, with whom he shared 6 years of marriage; mother, Barbara Natterer; daughter, Brooke Mowery; stepdaughters, Nicole (Josh Eckerman) Rhoades, and Allison (Bennett) Kish; grandsons, August Smith and Bodhi Szakacs; sister, Julie McClain; pups, Willow and Ryder; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends at the Waite Funeral Home: 765 N. Court Street, Medina, OH 44256, on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 6-8 pm and on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 11-12 pm with a memorial service at 12 pm. A luncheon will follow immediately at Waite Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children Cancer Foundation @ American Cancer Society – https://donate.cancer.org.  Messages of comfort and support may be shared with Jeff's family at www.waitefuneralhome.com.
