Jo Ann Griffith, 72, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on October 2, 2025. Born on January 6, 1953, in Cleveland, she was the cherished daughter of the late Michael and Josephine (Diskint) Vanco.

Jo Ann devoted her life to her family. Her greatest joy came from being "Mom" not only to her own children, but also to many others whose lives she touched through her kindness and care. Known for her giving spirit, Jo Ann babysat countless children over the years, treating each one as though they were her own.

Jo Ann's memory will be cherished by her husband of 46 years, Gary Griffith; children, Nicole Griffith, David (Angie) Mehallick, Steve (Tracey) Mehallick, Phillip (Susan) Mehallick, and Melissa Griffith (Greg Meeker); grandchildren, Alyssa, Hailey, Sophie, Ian, Aimee, and Nicholas; and great-grandson, Fabion. She is also survived by her siblings, Marie, Dorothy, Carol, Joseph, and Christine, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever remember her warmth and generosity. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Josephine; and her brother, Michael.
