Joan E. Kaminski, 84, of Seville, Ohio, passed away at home on August 3, 2024. She was born February 4, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late George and Victoria (nee Skocier) Carson.

Joan was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A hard worker, she meticulously cared for her family, her numerous pets, and her yard. She enjoyed playing cards and watching horse races, but nothing brought her greater joy than her family.

Joan's memory will be cherished by her children, Vicki Neal, Cory Strader Byrd (Jeremy), and Scott Yates; grandchildren, Brennan (Mandi) Yates, Colby Yates, Tanner Yates, Conner Yates, Skyler Yates, Brian Thomas, Dustin (Ruth) Neal, Jillian Neal, Adam Strader, Tori Byrd, Jesse Byrd, Leiana Yates, Logan Yates, and Luke Yates; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, John Carson; sister, Shirley Stromski; sister-in-law, Pat Carson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Edward "Mickey" Kaminski; son, David Yates; grandson, Ryan Neal; and brothers, George Carson, Ronald Carson, and Louis Sadler, Jr.

The family will welcome guests from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 am on Monday, August 12, 2024. Joan will be laid to rest at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick.
